Incontri... Encounters... Begegnungen...
Ogni mattina passiamo presso il nostro orto a Piccolino a raccogliere le verdure per la nostra cucina, ogni tanto abbiamo un amico che ci viene a trovare, questa volta avevamo con noi la macchina fotografica.
Each morning we go our garden in Piccolino to gather fresh vegetables for our kitchen. And sometimes, we have a little friend coming to greet us. Today we had with us a camera ... and here it is!
Täglich sind wir bei unserem Garten in Pikolein um frische Gemüse für unsere Küche zu sammeln. Manchmal begegnen wir unseren Freund. Und heute haben wir unser Fotoapparat mitgenommen!

We hope to have you soon as our guests at our Ustaria Posta.
Where do you ride with your bike?
It's a common question from our cycling guests staying at our Ustaria Posta during their cycle holiday in the Dolomites.
Of course they don't refer at the roads from our house heading south to the Dolomites Passes but to the roads going north direction Brunico from where you can ride other fantastic Passes like the Passo delle Erbe (Würzjoch), Passo Furcia (Furkelpass) or the beautiful cycling path in the Pusteria valley.
Especially cycling north you can do terrific cycling loops like the Passo delle Erbe one:
Check our GarminConnect account to view more Dolomites loops.
So what about the question?
Traveling towards our valley by car most of our cycling guests are passing through 6 tunnels on the Val Badia road. But if you are on your bike, you don't need to pass through them. The old road is still practicable and that's where we go every day we train on our roads. So that's why we did a little timelapse video to show you this hidden spot:
