Dolomites Sellaronda Bikeday
If there is an event where every cyclist should at least participate one time in his live, then after the Maratona dles Dolomites we have to add the Sellaronda Bikeday.
During this event the famous Dolomites passes: Passo Campolongo, Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella and Passo Gardena are closed for the motorized vehicles and you can ride them in a quiteness that's hard to describe. Ok, you still hear all the other cyclists gasp and puff during the uphills.
Starting from our Ustaria Posta the whole loop measures 64 km for 1,850 meters altitude gain.
Every year, over 15,000 cyclists take part at this ... let's call it ... cycling party. You will find cyclists of every kind, trained or not, with girlfriends, wifes and kids.
